The Moorings, Pucklechurch – LiveWest

The Moorings is a development of 38 no. units, the majority of which are shared ownership and eleven of which are affordable rent. The mix of units and tenures on site is a design decision that we agreed with the client. Placement of the three-storey flats (14no. total flats) in relation to the two-storey housing (24no. total houses) was critical to achieving character and balance throughout the scheme.

The homes been designed with consideration to the Building for Life 12 principles and the more recent Building for a Healthy Life principles. The design is inspired by the locality and considerations of community, history, landscape and the environmental goals of durability, adaptability.
