Norton Hill Technology Extension, Bath

With increasing student numbers and cramped classrooms, NOMA reviewed the needs of Norton Hill School with stakeholders. The brief included additional classrooms for the technology building. The linear design provides a clear axis between the existing and proposed, while taking into consideration the constraints, including a well established horse chestnut tree and existing classrooms.

NOMA led the planning stage and negotiated with the case officer, in order that there were no pre-commencement conditions so that the contractor could start on site immediately with works starting Jan 2024.
