The scheme creates a community for very frail residents from the local community, including people with dementia. The unique layout maximises the site while providing a safe, comfortable and secure environment for the residents. The linear design centred around internal and external courtyards encourages interaction and a sense of community. Waverley Gardens has a range of facilities including a restaurant, shop, cinema, advice centre and a spa, which can also be used by elderly residents from the local area.
