NOMA win commendation in Healthcare Awards

We are pleased to announce that NOMA Architects’ EMI Care Home at the Granary, Lodge Lane, Nailsea, for Shaw Healthcare, has been selected as one of the top three nursing homes in the country in the Pinders Health Care Awards. The prestigious awards are held annually in London and recognise the best innovative designs in the industry. The award includes a certificate and a cheque for £500.00 to be paid to a local Dementia charity. Pinders have commended the three storey, eighty bedroom EMI Care Home for its innovative design, with small self-contained communities of up to twelve residents clustered around a central atrium, which acts as a central hub and orientation space. The atrium also acts as a space for music and entertainment events for the residents.

NOMA are currently working on a World Class dementia centre for Brunelcare in Bristol. This new forty-eight bed unit will compliment the existing facilities on the site to create a dramatic new centre of excellence. Watch this space for further information.
